This is the main organisations for promoting Scots song and music. The TMSA organise local folk festivals and singing competitions and concerts and are in some ways a lowland equivalent of Feisean nan Gaidheal (with whom they have reciprocal membership) and An Comunn Gaidhealach. The TMSA has many branches throughout Scotland, mostly in the Lowlands.
